Workforce Initiative Association is currently accepting applications for Workforce Funded training opportunities for residents of Stark and Tuscarawas Counties. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements and should require training to gain the skills to be employed and become self-sufficient in today’s labor market.
Interested applicants are asked to visit the OhioMeansJobs Stark and Tuscarawas Counties website at http://OhioMeansJobs.com/Stark or http://OhioMeansJobs.com/Tuscarawas and to click on the “Services Tab” at the top of the page and locate the “Training” option. Select the appropriate age category of interest such as “Young Adults (18-24)” or “Adults (25 and Over)”. Informational videos provide information about Workforce Funding available through the OhioMeansJobs Stark and Tuscarawas County centers, how it works and who may qualify.
The website also provides information on how to obtain an eligibility application to start the process of being considered for Workforce Funding. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their application quickly to allow enough time for processing prior to the start of their training program.
